The group chat is real-time messaging for everyone in the group.
- Messages appear instantly for all members.
- Read receipts show who has seen each message.
- An unread badge appears on the Groups nav tab.
- The group creator can edit the group name anytime.
Free Deckhand members can post and chat fully, not just read.
Heads up: Push notifications for new messages are a First Mate and Captain feature. Without them you will still see the unread badge when you open the app.
