The Lido Hoppers Insider badge recognizes members of the wider Lido Hoppers community.
- From the Profile screen, tap Earn the Insider Badge (or Connect YouTube).
- Sign in with Google and grant read-only access to your YouTube subscriptions. This is a secure server-side check and never exposes your account to the app.
- If you are subscribed to the channel, the badge is awarded immediately.
- Not subscribed yet? The app links you to the channel. Subscribe, then tap Check Again, no need to redo the sign-in.
Your status is re-checked periodically. If you unsubscribe, the badge enters a 60-day grace period before it is removed, and re-subscribing reinstates it right away.
Note: The Insider badge is available on any tier. It is a community-status badge, not a subscription perk.
